Our packages include all transport and excursions mentioned in the package. Entrance fees to the sites mentioned in the package are included as well unless it is stated in the itinerary that they they are not.
Any extra costs are for the client. This is also the case for extra costs as a result of transport delays, natural disasters , strikes or social unrest. Our packages don’t include airport taxes, nor any extra costs for luggage which exceeds the luggage allowances on airplanes, trains and buses..
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT
The client is responsible for showing up well in time for all activities mentioned in the program. We recommend you to be at the airport 2 hours before the departure time of your domestic flight and 3 hours before the departure time of your international flight. The client is also responsible for showing the right documents when necessary like passport for traveling on domestic flights and trains etc etc. All cost which are generated because the client does not show up in time or does not have the right documents are for the client.
The client has to have a valid travel insurance.
After sending us the form Destinos Turisticos will contact you by email and tell you the possibilities of your request and the price to be paid. After you agreed we shall give you our bank details. After we received your payment your reservation is guaranteed and we send you the details of your reservation like airline codes etc.
Depending on the package some packages have to be pre-paid fully while for other packages a deposit will be enough. In that case the rest can be paid in our office in Cusco.
The Inca trail and domestic airline tickets which are already issued can not be cancelled.
For other packages we have the following rules. If the client cancels more than 30 days before the journey starts we refund the money paid minus US$ 25 for administration costs and minus all the costs we had to pre-pay ourselves .
If the client cancels between 29 days and 10 before the tour starts the same rule as above applies + an administration fee of 25% of the cost of the program. If the client cancels between 9 and 3 days before the tour starts this administration cost will be 50% and if it is less than 3 days the administration fee will be 100%.
CHANGING THE ITINERARY
The dates for the Inca trail and domestic airline tickets can not be changed. In case of other packages the cost of the change of the itinerary will be for the client.
In case it is necessary Destinos Turisticos allows themselves the right to change the itinerary of the package for operational reasons.
